Suncoast Christian College, on Queensland’s beautiful Sunshine Coast, provides a holistic Christian education and learning environment for your child. Your child will be cared for at our College and by a supportive Christian family as part of our Homestay program.

On the Sunshine Coast, you will experience a laid-back lifestyle centred around pristine surf beaches, freshwater rivers and lakes, subtropical forests and warm sunshine. Our summer temperatures range from 17 – 30C and winter temperatures from 10 – 22C.
The College is situated in beautiful Woombye on the Sunshine Coast which is just one hour’s drive north of Queensland’s capital city, Brisbane and Brisbane International Airport. There is our local Sunshine Coast Airport (approximately 15 minutes from the College) with services to and from Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. Rail or bus transport to Brisbane is also available. Homestay
An important part of the International Student Program at Suncoast Christian College is the experience of living with an Australian family.
Providing our overseas students with a safe, supportive and nurturing home environment during their enrolment is of greatest importance to us at Suncoast Christian College.
The Homestay experience not only provides the student with a family environment but immerses them in the Australian culture and reinforces the English language lessons studied at the College. Experience has shown that students who are immersed in the English language by living with an English speaking family progress faster with their English language skills.
Suncoast works together with our Homestay families to ensure a successful experience for both the student and the family.
Application Process
Application Form: Please download our Application for Enrolment – International Students, print, sign and return the signed Enrolment Application and supporting/required documentation to the College Enrolment Officer with your non-refundable application fee of $330 per child.
Application Confirmation
Upon receiving your application our Enrolment Officer will contact you to arrange an interview and to discuss your enrolment application.
