Suncoast Equestrian

Suncoast Equestrian Club is open to students from within the College who wish to compete under the College umbrella within the various disciplines. It’s a great opportunity for riders to compete for their school in an internationally recognised sport and to compete up to a National level against other schools. Interschool riders will experience achievement, challenge and personal responsibility.

The Club aids the development of young riders from as early as Prep, to create a competitive school team and competition calendar which fosters support for active lifestyle choices for our students. Interschool Queensland is a school only competition for registered EQ members, which provides opportunities to compete against competitors from other schools in your age group as a horse/rider combination.

You are required to have your own horse to compete and be part of the Club and also be a junior member of Equestrian Queensland (EQ).

The Suncoast Christian College Equestrian Club was launched in 2013. The Sunshine Coast has many families involved in equestrian and many Suncoast students are involved in the inter-school events run by Equestrian Queensland.
