Suncoast recently hosted the annual SCIPHA Chess Tournament. Around 100 students from Years 2 to 6 from eight Sunshine Coast independent schools met together in the Taylor Centre to enjoy a full day of chess competition.

A special congratulations to William H who received a Merit Commendation in the novice section. Visiting schools were thrilled with the venue and the opportunity to participate in a friendly 7 round tournament.
