This week our roving reporter captured Mia Herak, Georgie Hicks and Elizabeth Cook with their club leader, Mrs Camilleri in the Suncoast Community Garden. Friday of every week during Gardening Club these wonderful environmental warriors give up a lunch hour to nurture the garden.
This term, the Gardening Club have weeded, mulched and replanted the garden beds while learning some basic skills in caring for plants and the environment. There has been a lot of preparatory work gone into the garden this year in readiness for classes to use as part of their studies. We would like to welcome anyone who would like to join this group each week to garden, chat and have fun.
