The Primary Swimming Carnival will be held on Thursday 1 February, commencing at 9:00am. Students from Years 3 – 6 will travel to the Cotton Tree Aquatic Centre by College bus. Parents are most welcome to attend. There is a spectator fee of $2.00 payable on entry.

• Before arriving at school, slip, slop, slap.
• Students should arrive in their College house-coloured shirt with sports shorts/skort and their togs underneath. Board shorts may be worn instead of sports shorts to school, but students must have shorts to change into after the conclusion of the carnival.
• Students are to meet teachers at their classrooms and proceed to the bus area for an 8:35am departure. The covered side of the pool is for House Teams. Parents are welcome to use this area as well. All other areas are out of bounds to Suncoast students. This includes the paddling pool. These will be used by the general public or other schools.

As there is only limited food and drink available at the pool, we advise you to pack your child’s lunch for the day. Students are expected to travel to and from the carnival with their class. If, due to special circumstances, a child needs to leave the carnival early, a parent must see the child’s teacher to sign them out.

Students are to remember the following:

• Togs, rashie, swimming cap, hat, body board (if desired), towel, house shirt, water/drink, sunscreen, goggles, sports uniform, morning tea and lunch.
