We are encouraging the whole Suncoast community to get behind our team entry in the Sunshine Coast Marathon again this year which is being held on Sunday 4 August, which is an initiative of our Year 12 students. Last year, being our first time as a school team, there were 50 runners, joggers and walkers from our Suncoast community who participated.

Anyone is invited to participate including students, parents, staff, alumni, family members, and friends…basically anyone connected to Suncoast. Our team participation will raise much needed funds for the Leukaemia Foundation and is a wonderful opportunity to build community and promote health, fitness and well-being. There are a variety of distances to choose from – 2km, 5km or 10km fun runs or the 21.1km half marathon or 42.2km full marathon.
