SCISSA

The Sunshine Coast Independent Schools Sports Association (SCISSA) is the premier inter-school sport competition on the Sunshine Coast. All uniforms and transport is provided for students.

Suncoast is part of the Sunshine Coast Independant Schools Sports Association (SCISSA).  This provides an inter-school competition in both primary and secondary for not only athletics, swimming, cross country and team sports but is also the main pathway for representative aspirations.

Other schools involved with SCISSA are: St. Andrew’s Anglican College, Matthew Flinders Anglican College, Nambour Christian College, Suncoast Christian College, Pacific Lutheran College, Good Shepherd Lutheran College, Immanuel Lutheran College, Sunshine Coast Grammar School and Caloundra Christian College.

Primary Years 4-6

Upper Primary students participate in SCISSA sport on a Thursday afternoon during school time.

Sports played include: Rugby Union, Netball, Basketball, Softball, Football, Touch, AFL, Water Polo and Volleyball.

Secondary Years 7-12

Secondary SCISSA competitions in Volleyball, Football, Tennis and Touch Football occur Wednesday afternoon after school during school terms.
