On Sunday, August 19, 2018 over 50 people from the Suncoast Community entered the Sunshine Coast Marathon. This entrance was an initiative of our Year 12 students with the aim to get keep fit and help raise funds for Motor Neurone Disease Queensland
The team of students, parents, staff, alumni, family members, and friend – basically anyone connected to Suncoast – helped raise much needed for Motor Neurone Disease Queensland and was a wonderful opportunity to build community and promote health, fitness, and well-being. Runners (and walkers) entered a variety of distances from – 2km, 5km or 10km fun runs or the 21.1km half marathon or 42.2km full marathon.
