About Prep at Suncoast Christian College
Prep learn by inquiry
Prep at Suncoast is an investigation based program that aims to spark and develop each child’s curiosity through inquiry and exploration. Right from the start, our students are equipped to be life-long learners.
Prep at Suncoast is an engaging play-based, hands-on program with learning embedded through exploration, experimentation and child-centred investigations. With a focus on social and emotional well-being, children develop skills in early literacy and numeracy and a positive attitude toward learning. We embrace the early-life approach of personalised play-based learning which encourages self-expression, creativity, self-awareness, and self-management.
Purpose Built Prep Centre
Suncoast has a purpose-built Prep Centre with a spacious child-height multi-purpose kitchen and an exclusive outdoor learning area. We are located in the heart of Suncoast Christian College, our co-educational private Christian College at Woombye; a short drive from the Sunshine Coast region of Nambour, Woombye.
Specialist Lessons
Prep students enjoy specialist lessons in Performing Arts, Physical Education, Italian, Library, Robotics and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
