We encourage our players to be involved socially, develop their skills, and compete in tournaments and competitions across the state. Our coaches are dedicated to seeing our students excel at every level.

SCISSA (Sunshine Coast Independent Schools)

SCISSA is held term by term on Wednesday 4:00pm – 6:30pm. Home and away season with finals in Week 9
Cost: Nil (players selected in teams are provided with uniforms and transport to and from venues)

SCISSA – SENIOR (Years 11/12) – Term 1

Team selections and training during Senior Sport (Wednesdays 11:15am – 12:40pm)

SCISSA – INTERMEDIATE (Years 9/10) – Term 2

Team selections and training during Intermediate Sport (Wednesdays 1:35pm – 3:05pm)

SCISSA – JUNIOR (Years 7/8) – Term 2

Team selections and training during Junior Sport (Fridays 1:35pm – 3:05pm)

Sunshine Coast Schools Trish Buckley Shield

The Trish Buckley Shield competition features the best school teams on the Sunshine Coast, which is played on Friday nights for four weeks during the year.

Cost: NIL (playing uniform borrowed from sports office)

Transport: A bus will be provided to Caloundra Indoor from the College, pick up is via own transport)

Nominations: During Term 1 via Clipboard App or QR Code at Sports Office

TERM 1 TRISH BUCKLEY SHIELD: SENIOR (YEARS 10/11/12)

Competition: Fridays 4:00pm – 8:00 pm at Caloundra Indoor Stadium. Starting in Term, Weeks 5 – 9

Selections: Trials will be held during Term 1, Week 3. Training TBA by Coaches

TERM 2 TRISH BUCKLEY SHIELD: JUNIOR (YEARS 7/8/9)

Competition: Fridays 4:00pm – 8:00 pm at Caloundra Indoor Stadium. Term 2, Weeks 1 – 5

Volleyball Queensland Schools Cup

Volleyball Queensland Schools Cup is held at the Gold Coast for three days of competition (Friday – Sunday) three times a year. Selections for these travelling teams will be held in the Term prior to competition. Development squads are offered each term, and attendance at these sessions is required for selection.

Schools Cup teams have a financial commitment of around $300 – $400 per tournament competition (includes registration, transport, accommodation, and player tour apparel pack).
