Suncoast Netball Club wrapped up a stellar 2023 season at the Grand Final round last Saturday. For a smaller club, with eight divisional and two Net Set Go teams, we were delighted to have three teams make it to the Grand Finals.
The Shooters had a nail-biter against the Saints, but the girls persisted and came away with an exciting win! Our Spartans shot out of the gates to get points on the board early against a fierce Grammar team. They were unstoppable and took a 15-point victory as Division 5 winners! These girls have won their Grand Final for three consecutive years. The final game culminated with great skill and sportsmanship as our Strikers dominated against Flinders. These girls were delighted with their second win in two years.
We are excited about the phenomenal depth of talent in our club! We particularly celebrate the sportsmanship and wonderful community spirit of our club. 2023 was another very successful season.
